Since 2021-22, the studio has explored the tactile and expressive potential of handmade Wooden, plant fibers materials—crafting lighting pieces that are as thoughtful as they are striking.

Bhaskar jangir founded Kastenglow Lights in 2021 with a clear vision: to blend innovation and tradition in the lighting industry. Holding a B-Arch. degree in Architecture or Interior Designer, Bhaskar decided to follow his passion for design and technology, shifting gears from the family’s Wood Carpentry business to lighting solutions that brighten homes and lives.
Growing up in a business-oriented family, Bhaskar learned invaluable lessons early on — the importance of dedication, integrity, and thinking creatively to solve challenges. These principles continue to guide Kastenglow Lights mission and operations to this day.
Bhaskar believes that great lighting is not just about illumination but about creating an atmosphere, enhancing comfort, and bringing spaces to life. His leadership and vision inspire the entire team to deliver products that combine style, efficiency, and sustainability.
